The objective is to exercise in solving the threat of a crisis situation in case of the black-outin three Czech regions - Pardubický, Liberecký and Královéhradecký region (also with thecapital city of this region - Hradec Králové). The outcome of this non rush activation shouldsupport coordination and information sharing between main actors, verification of triggeringmechanism, management and operational procedures in response to emergency state. Thisis in line with the priorities of the Czech National Energetic Concept in the context of crisisand emergency preparednessThe core users of the map are Civil Protection authorities involved in in-field operations.

No restrictions on the publication of the mapping apply.Delivery formats are GeoTIFF, GeoPDF, GeoJPEG and vectors (shapefile and KML formats).

The products elaborated in the framework of current mapping in non-rush mode activationare realized to the best of our ability, optimising the available data and information. Allgeographic information has limitations due to scale, resolution, date and interpretation of theoriginal data sources. The products are compliant with GIO-EMS NON-RUSH ProductPortfolio specifications.

The present map shows basic topographic features such as transportation, power lines,settlements in the area between Pardubice and Olomuc region (Czech rep.)These basic topographic features are derived from public datasets, refined by means ofvisual interpretation of pre-event image.All airborne images have been radiometrically enhanced and georeferenced.The estimated geometric accuracy of this product is 1 m CE90 or better, from nativepositional accuracy of the background airborne image .The estimated thematic accuracy of this product is 85% or better as it is based on visualinterpretation of recognizable items on very high resolution optical imagery.Please be aware that the thematic accuracy might be lower in urban and forested areas.Only the area enclosed by the Area of Interest has been analyzed.Map produced on 13 August 2013 by JRC.All products are © of the European Commission.E-mail: [email protected]
