Private Spaces
Public Spaces
Main Circulation Paths
Using the plan, section and images of the space,
describe how the designer has organised individual rooms from more
public to more private to provide a functional and beautiful way of
moving through the building.
- A triangular void creates a connection from the interior and
exterior, with glass walls it is more open and creates an
inviting public area.
-The bedrooms are
isolated from the rest of
the house.
-No pathways are
present, just stairs.

Space & Form
Paste a reduced copy of the plan and/or section
here and highlight key aspects of space and/or form eg regular vs irregular space, inward vs
outward focussed, overlapping space etc etc.
Regular Spaces
Irregular Spaces
Using the plan, section and images of the interior, show how key
functions are accommodated in a very narrow width using different
spatial strategies.
-harsh angles are used
- a high roof is made to give a sense of space
- Different floor materials are used Materials
Paste images of key materials here and note
what they are.
Using the images of the interior, describe how the designer has used
materials to express key design ideas.
- White concrete has been used to show the building as a
white hill mimicking the mount Fuji of Tokyo
-
Timber Floors
Rendered concrete
on the inside and

the building.
Key Views are upwards
Using the plan, section and images of the interior, describe how the designer has used views into and out of the building
to integrate the interior with the exterior landscape.
They diminished the impact of any glimpses to neighbouring buildings
and have used the buildings crooked horizon as a connection to the
outside.
Environmental Considerations
Paste a reduced copy of the plan and/or section
here and annotate key points of natural light
and natural ventilation.
Using the plan, section and images of the space,
describe how the designer has incorporated natural light and
ventilation into the building.
-Bring light inside while shutting out views inspired the architect to
develop an enclosed manmade environment.-Glass door openings allows natural ventilation
