Mesin 1 & 2
I. Kegiatan Utama PAC
1. Mengeluarkan Work Order (WO) ke shop floor untuk pelaksanaan produksi.
2. Melakukan kontrol terhadap WO dan memastikanpekerjaan diselesaikan.
3. Menangani rencana detail flow of orders padakegiatan produksi sesuai rencana, sertamengendalikan pekerjaan dalam proses sampaiselesai.
Berapa besar kapasitas work centers?
III. Planning & Control Database
1. Planning Files: “Item master file, product structure file, routing file, dan work center master file”.
1.1. Item Master File:No. partDeskripsi partManufacturing lead timeKuantitas di tanganKuantitas tersediaKuantitas dialokasikanOn-order quantitiesLot-size quantity
1.2. Product Structure File (BOM):Daftar komponenJumlah komponen untuk tiap 1 produk rakitan
1.3. Routing File:Operasi pembuatan produk, dan urutannyaDeskripsi ringkas tiap operasiPeralatan, tool, dan asesoris untuk tiap operasiSetup time tiap operasiRun time (waktu standar) utk memproses satu unit mel. tiapoperasiLead time tiap operasi
1.4. Work Center Master File:Nomor work center KapasitasJumlah shift kerja tiap mingguJumlah jam mesin per shiftJumlah jam pekerja per shiftEfisiensiUtilisasiWaktu tungguAdanya Work Centers alternatif.
2. Control Files: “Shop order master file, danshop order detail file”.
2.1. Shop Order Master File:Nomor shop orderOrder quantityKuantitas diselesaikanKuantitas skrapKuantitas material di-issued utk orderDue datePrioritasKuantitas yg belum selesaiInformasi biaya
IV. 6 Fungsi UtamaProduction Activity Control
1. Menetapkan prioritas untuk tiap “shop order”.
2. Mendapatkan informasi kuantitas “work- in process” (WIP)
3. Menyediakan informasi status “shop-order”.
4. Menyediakan data “output” (aktual) untukmengendalikan kapasitas
5. Menyediakan “quantity” by location by shop order untuk mengetahui “WIP inventory”
6. Menyediakan ukuran efisiensi, utilization, danproduktivitas pekerja dan mesin.

V. Tanggung jawab Production Activity Control (PAC)
1. Loading - Proses meng-assign pekerjaanpada resources yang terbatas.
2. Sequencing – Menentukan urutan perintahkerja ke pabrik (shop), dan mengeluarkan“dispatch lists” utk setiap mesin
3. Monitoring – Memantau laporan kemajuantiap pekerjaan sampai selesai dikerjakan.
Loading (pembebanan)
1. Mengalokasikan pekerjaan ke mesin-mesin (resources)
3. Penentuan alokasi dgn menggunakanMetode Assignment (Linear Programming).
Contoh 1 Assignment Method (Loading)

Contoh 2 Assignment Method (Loading)
VI. Scheduling & Sequencing Performances
Sequencing Rule:FCFS (First Come First Served)SPT (Shortest Processing Time)EDD (Earliest Due Date)LPT (Longest Processing Time).
Contoh Sequencing Rule
Kita ingin menentukansequence prosesnya berdasarkan FCFS, SPT, EDD, danLPT. Juga ingin dihitung performances-nya.

Summary FCFS, SPT, EDD, dan LPT:
Kesimpulan:1. SPT adl yg terbaik utk meminimumkan job flow time dan ave. number of jobs in
system. Kelemahannya, pekerjaan yang berdurasi lama tdk diprioritaskan. Itumempengaruhi pertimbangan customers.
2. FCFS kurang bagus utk semua kriteria.
3. EDD, meminimumkan max tardiness yg penting bila penalty tinggi. EDD bagus bilalateness hal yang penting.
Rule Ave. Comp. Time (days)
Utilization (%)
Ave. Number of Job in System
Ave. Lateness (days)
FCFS 15.4 36.4 2.75 2.2
SPT 13.0 43.1 2.32 1.8
EDD 13.6 41.2 2.43 1.2
LPT 20.6 27.2 3.68 9.6
Guidelines Umum Scheduling
SPT paling bermanfaat untuk “shop” yang paling padat (highly congested).Meminimumkan “mean flow time”, “mean number of jobs in the system (WIP)”, dan “percent of late jobs”.Di sisi lain, bbrp jobs mungkin sangat terlambat (very late).
Gunakan DDATE.
Monitoring
Gantt ChartMemperlihatkan rencana aktivitas danpenyelesaiannya dalam skala waktu
Input/Output ControlMemonitor input dan output dari tiap work center.

VI. Input/Output Control
Note:
Fokuskan perhatian pada “bottleneck work centers”.
WorkCenterInput Output
Shop Capacity Control Workflow
Rules & Calculations
1. Rules:• Planned and actual inputs monitor the flow of
work coming to the work center.• Planned and actual outputs monitor the
performance of the work center.• Planned and actual backlogs monitor the queue
and lead time performance.2. Calculations:
• Cum. deviation = previous cum deviation + actual – planned
• Planned backlog for period 1 = previous backlog + planned input – planned output.
Contoh: Input/Output Report
Week ending 505 512 519 526
Planned input 210 210 210 210
Actual input 110 150 140 130
Cumulative deviation -100 -160 -230 -310
Planned output 210 210 210 210
Actual output 140 120 160 120
Cumulative deviation -70 -160 -210 -300
Shop-Floor Control
Shop-Floor Control System: “A system for utilizing data from the shop floor as well as data processing files to maintain and communicate status information on shop orders and work centers”.
