B) WORK PROFILE & JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for producing quality engine and maintaining daily prorata as per shift
Daily deployment of manpower in subassembly and assembly area Monitor for daily ‘5s’ and safety Responsible for maintaining smooth flow of material to line side Updating Daily management board and production & testing log book Maintaining daily PPI and Quality charts.
Development of New tools for SPD activities. TDR raised for improved tooling for TIR measurement on V28 GSL engines coupled with Alternator. Gauge improvement taken up with Quality.
Timely escalation of quality issues on mails with respect to all SPD engines to Application and Product engineering.
Worked with Quality teams of various BU and PDA for getting the processes in place.
Responsible for completion of all special project SPD (special project division) within a time.
Attend daily SPD war room meetings in absence of manager to effectively plan SPD shipment as per agreed priority. Timely identification of issues, material shortages to the team for quick resolution and avoidance of loss of engine shipment.
C) SPECIAL PROJECTS
Worked for six sigma project as active team member for increasing productivity to 14 to 16 engine per shift without increasing manpower.

ACHEIVMENTS :
Provided training for OEM (SILVASA) in assembly process of marine genset. Initiated dry test for a series of gas engines to avoid gas leakage. Deputed to supplier end for final Quality inspection and process audit (FIAR
in Pondicherry) and achieved zero defect. Supported to sourcing team for various quality issues like radiator failure, overheating, water tube leakage, damaged and missing kit parts in radiator.
Have received appreciation awards on assembly of special engines. Has extended support for getting the work instructions completed for SPD
engines with manufacturing engineering. These work instructions were first time made and required lot of efforts to cumulate data, pictures etc.
100% On time delivery of SPD scope engines , majorly for GSL , LEAN BURN ,ONGC ,GRSE genset customers in spite of challenges like material
shortages, extensive BOM errors on SPD scope, Part quality issues etc. Tracked engines from initiation of SPD activities, material shortage identification, procurement of parts till dispatch of engines as per schedule
