The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run is a global torch relay that symbolizes humanity’s universal aspira-tion for a more peaceful world. Celebrating its 27th anni-versary this year, the Peace Run is humanity’s largest and longest grassroots relay for peace. Since its inception the torch has visited more than 140 nations.

The Peace Run was founded in 1987 by the late peace visionary Sri Chinmoy in a spirit of love, harmony and oneness. This spirit permeates the relay and touches the hearts of all those who participate. An athlete, philosopher, artist, musician and poet, Sri Chinmoy dedicated his life to advancing the ideals of world friendship and oneness.

Our Balinese Peace Run team will visit Ubud, home of one of Sri Chinmoy’s ‘Dreamer of Peace’ statues, and on the following day,
, the relay will proceed to Denpasar for functions there.
The Peace Run, upon its arrival in Timor-Leste on will have several children-oriented activities related to peace. The Peace Run in Timor-Leste will take place mainly in its capital, Dili, and involve top-level athletes, political leaders and citizens. The Peace Run relay and the closing ceremony will be integrated within the state’s festivities program of the National Youth Day on Then the Peace Run will de-part from Sri Chinmoy’s statue in front of the the Parliament and involve national leaders who will then bring the peace torch to the final music concert at the square in front of the central government building.

The Australian leg of the Peace Run will commence at Uluru (Ayers Rock) on . From the very heart of Australia, the team will run south over the rich red earth to Adelaide, then along the full length of the Mur-ray River – a Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossom – from its mouth to its source high up in the Australian Alps.
