“But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry.So he prayed to the LORD, and said, "Ah, LORD, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are agracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.

"And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand

persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left - and much livestock?"

... محدودة الغير ربنا محبة إن للعجب يا. رحمته و اناته طول كتر من شديدا= غما= يغتم يونان جعلت

... = جدا سأفرح بل أغتم فلن أنا أماكيونان نبيا= لست ألنى خالصى هذا في ألن

نينوى كأهل جدا= خاطئ انا انما .و

Oh, the wonder of love of God, so unlimited that it saddened Jonah, greatly to realize God’s mercy &

patience. But as for me, I shall rejoice greatlybecause in that is my salvation.

For I am not a prophet like Jonah… but I am a sinner like the people of Nineveh.

Oh Lord, I am also a failure… a sinner… lonely… demoralized…

weary…miserable…Weak…But

You will not leave me… You will accept me… You will change me… You will be merciful to me…

You will improve me… You will correct me.

“So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. Then word came to theking of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decreeof the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?.” )Jon 3 : 5 – 9(

I also long to repent… & become a spiritual human being… and turn back from my wicked ways…

And descend from the height of my pride & dignity…I will refrain from tasting the desires of the flesh…

أذنيك أمل صالتى إلى و سيدى يا صراخى أسمع

Oh my Lord, hear my cry…

& incline your ear to my prayer
