All Saints Day In Mexico

Karina Rosas Mondragón 403Hilda Saraí Zavala Vázquez

In México, in the offering we use to put fruit, bread, pumpkins and photos of our

familiars that are dead.

Our ancestors started with this tradition, so also in the offering you can find some objects that were used in the prehistory.

Another tradition in Mexico is to put like a “rug” on the floor that is made of flowers, beans, candles, we can use many things to make a rug.

A traditional candy in Mexico on Halloween is “calaverita de azucar” that are like a small skulls made of sugar were you can put your name or another name and give it to a person.

The offerings can be dedicate to a special person like: singer, actors, writers.
