1 火车 huǒ chē, train

我们要坐火车去北京看爷爷奶奶 .Wǒmen yào zuò huǒchē qù běijīng kàn yéye nǎinai . We are going to ride the train to Beijing to visit grand father and grand mother.

2 旅行 lǚxíng, travel

旅行车 lǚxíng chē

你要怎么旅行？ Nǐ yào zěnme lǚxíng? How do you plan to travel?

3 离 lí, be away from

你家离学校远不远？Nǐ jiā lí xuéxiào yuǎn bù yuǎn?Is your home far way from school?

4 学校 xuéxiào, school

我家离学校很近。 Wǒ jiā lí xuéxiào hěn jìn. My home is close to school.

5 远 yuǎn, far

北京离上海很远Běijīng lí shànghǎi hěn yuǎn. Beijing is far away from Shanghai.

6 只要 zhǐyào, only 只 + Verb (only)

只是 zhǐ shì 只买 zhǐ mǎi 只看 zhǐ kàn 只有 zhǐ yǒu 只会 zhǐ huì 只吃 zhǐ chī

7 分钟 fēnzhōng, minute

一个小时有六十分钟 Yí ge xiǎoshí yǒu liùshí fēnzhōng One hour has sixty minutes.

8 骑 qí, ride

我每天都骑车上学 Wǒ měitiān dōu qíchē shàngxué. I ride bike to school everyday.

9. 自行车 zì xíng chē, bike这辆自行车多少钱？Zhè liàng zìxíng chē duōshǎo qián ?

How much is this bike?

10 公共汽车 gōnggòng qìchē, bus

公车 gōngchē

我每天坐公车 . Wǒ měitiān zuò gōngchē. I ride the bus everyday.

11 走路 zǒulù,walk 路 lù,road

爸爸每天走路一个小时。 Bàba mèitiān zǒulù yíge xiǎoshí Father walks one hour everyday.

12 近 jìn, near

健身房离学校很近 Jiàn shēn fang lí xuéxiào hěn jìn. The gym is close to the school.

13 西部 xībù, the west中国西部人口很少Zhōngguó xībù rénkǒu hěnshǎo. The population of the western part of China is low.

14 先 , 再 , 然后Xiān , zài , ránhòu

First, then, and then

我们先上课，再吃饭，然后回家Wǒmen xiān shàngkè, zài chīfàn, ránhòu huíjiā.

We attend class first, then eat, and then go home.

15 风景 fēngjǐng, scenery

海边的风景很美Hǎibiān de fēngjǐng hěn měi.The scenery of seaside is beautiful.

16 船 chuán, ship

海边停了很多船 .Hǎibiān tíng le hěnduō chuán

Many boats parked on the seaside.

17 南部 nánbù, the south

台湾的南部很热。Táiwān de nánbù hěn rè.The southern part of Taiwan is very hot.

18 听说 tīngshuō ,to hear of

听说去中国的机票很贵 Tīng shuō qù zhōngguó de jīpiào hěn guì. It is said that the plane ticket to China is very expensive.

19 海边 hǎibiān, seaside

海边的人很多Haibiān de rén hěnduō.Lots of people on the seaside.

20 景色 jǐngsè, scenery中国的景色很美 Zhōngguó de jǐngsè hěn měi. Scenery in China is beautiful.

21 一共 yígòng, total 一共多少钱 ?Yígòng duōshǎo qián?How much money in total?

22 租 zū, rent

房租 fángzū, rent

在美国租房子很贵 Zài měiguó zū fángzi hěn guì. It is very expensive to rent a house in USA.
