  • At the beginning of the lesson, children were divided into groups. Then, the leader of a group drew one of the photos presenting popular monuments in Warsaw.

  • Children could use different types of blocks

  • What is more, they had to do a mathematical task. It involeved counting number of faces, edges and vertices of geometrical figures.

  • These were:

    The Palace of Culture and Science The Royal Castle

  • The Palace in WilanowWarsaw Courthouse St Johns Church

  • Students were very involved in the process of contructing the facades. They had a whale of a time as well.

  • Here are some of the works they did

  • Over a hundred children aged 9-11 took part in this activity. The majority of them enjoyed it very much and would like to do it again in the future. This means the activity was a great educational success
