• Match requirement of the outlet you chose

Journal: Read editorial policy and statement first.

Conference: Match the conference theme.

Watch out the Call for Special issue in journals.

Organize the Special Issue for the journals you like to submit.

Organize the panel or play as the discussant in the conferences.

• Comply the requirement from the “instructions for authors” or style guide for authors in your target journal.

• Pick the suitable editor or reviewer, if you’re required to do so.

• Be patience, the average turnover time is 6 months or more.

The initial review result of your work may be informed within 3-6 months or more, depends on the journal you submitted.

“Revise and resubmit” is always better than having the letter of rejection

Check and prioritize comments from editors and reviewers accordingly.
