How to wear kimono

First tabi onPut under kimono onAlways wear kimono left to right – free edge on right (opposite is funeral)Lift kimono up to level of just above lower part of the ankle – tie at waistThen adjust top part of kimonoThen tie obi – straighten and pull kimonoPut zori on…..finished !!!!

Hair Style

Hair Style is very important

You must reveal the nape of the neck

This was & still is deemed very attractive

You twist the hair & then hold in place with chopstick like decoration

If you cant find special “kazari” use red or bright chopsticks
