1. Open the web browser

2. Click “Login” Button

3. Enter information in the “New User”

Section then click “sign up”

4. Once you have decided which emotion to focus on go to the “Grok” search box and

put in a key word that works for your presentation

5. My examples are “happy” and

“emotion”

6. If the words are too difficult move the side bar over closer to the “abc”

side

7. To find the key facts simply click on

the word

8. If the key fact is very

important click on the pin in order for it to stay on the screen

9. To get rid of one of the words

simply click on the “X” on the top right corner of the word

10. To add more ideas off of one of

the key facts simply click on the word

11. To add descriptions or explanation between words click on the line

connecting the two and the text box will appear

12. To have key words stay on

the screen/presentation click on the word

13. To add a video click on the word and click on the third

picture and different videos will appear

14. To add websites click on the second picture and the thumbtack and

it will appear on the screen

15. To add images click on the fourth

icon and select the thumbtack

16. To add notes go to the last

icon

17. To move words or anything around

click on the icon and stop where ever you want it

18. While doing the presentation you can keep a journal! Simply click on the Journal

icon on the top

19. This is what it will look like with all of the extra information on the

right side

20. You can add pictures to the

journal to help with understanding

21. There is also Quizzes tab

22. After taking a quiz the score will

be posted

23. Once you are done with your “Grok” I will then ask for your usernames and add

you to the class.
