• In most of his videos, Anton corbijn uses black and white video. He uses colour effects in most shots but dampening the colour to black and white appears in most of his videos.

He doesn’t use many other effects, only ones modifying colour of a shot.

Biographical info

Corbijn started his career photographing music, he saw a Dutch musician Herman Brood playing in a café and took photos. Herman brood virtually unknown at the time quickly rose to stardom due to Corbijn’s photos.

Corbijn later decided to move onto making music videos, he was asked to make a video for Dr. mabuse. After this Corbijn was receiving lots of offers to make music videos, he accepted headhunter by front 242, which he understood to be called egg-hunter due to his limited English at the time however the video became a milestone in his career.

Work

• Corbijn moved through many areas of filming. He began in photography and moved on to music videos, he then went from music videos to films then on to television. He is still mostly recognized for his music videos especially working so closely with U2.
