It has been my privilege to know Melissa Lloyd for a number of years. I first knew Melissa as a student when she took classes through the Business Computer Management program at Barton County Community College. She then progressed after graduation into the position of associate faculty in the program. I currently work with her through her position as Advisement Coordinator.

In her current position, Melissa has proven herself over and over by handling day-to-day student questions and problems with great aptitude. She had taken on an enormous amount of responsibility within the campus-wide advisement initiative. In her position, she is often the first person that a new student at Barton really gets to talk to and form a relationship with. Since she is this front-line person, she is the one that lets the student know about life here at Barton County Community College.

Not only has she taken over her tasks with great skill, she shows a strong sense of loyalty to Barton and the success of its students. She would be an asset to any advisement program and will be have a brilliant future in her chosen career path.
