About Tomm Tomm Moore was born on January 7 1977. At 39 year of age Tomm has become a Irish filmmaker, animater, illustrator and comics artist. Tomm is the co-funder of Cartoon Saloon and animation studio production Company in Kilkenny, Ireland.

Cartoon Saloon

Cartoon Saloon began as an informal partnership between a group of animators brought together by Paul Young, Nora Twomey and Tomm Moore in 1999. Cartoon Saloon has since grown into a multi-award winning animation and illustration design studio.

Song of the SeaSong of the Sea follows the story of a 10-year-old Irish boy named Ben who discovers that his mute sister Saoirse, whom he blames for the apparent death of his mother, is a selkie who has to free fairy creatures from the Owl witch Macha.

Macha sends her owls to capture the fairies emotions witch turns the fairy people into stone. Saoirse the selkie has to be the one to sing the spell to free the fairy people but because she is mute they will have to find another way to get Saoirse to sing the spell.

The Secret of Kells In the remote Irish woods, Cellach prepares a fortress for an impending attack by a Viking war party. Unbeknown to Cellach, his young nephew Brendan -- who has no taste for battle -- works secretly as an apprentice in the scriptorium of the local monastery, learning the ancient art of calligraphy. As the Vikings approach, revered illuminator Aidan arrives at the monastery and recruits Brendan to complete a series of dangerous, magical tasks.
