Due to the high biocompatibility, biocompatibility, osteoconductivity and the ability to create osteoconductivity and the ability to create chemical connections with living tissue chemical connections with living tissue hydroxyapatite ceramic materials are considered to be one of the leading materials in bone surgery.

Hydroxyapatite used in the composites have been obtained with a novel method a novel method using pig bones, which allows a significant cost reduction in obtaining this type of material in comparison with traditional methods and produces a material with given parameters. This method is innovative on a global innovative on a global scale in ecological aspectsscale in ecological aspects. It eliminates aggressive hydrolyzing agents, which generate significant quantities of hazardous waste that need to disposed of in a special way.

Natural polymers also called hydrocolloidshydrocolloids are macromolecular compounds composed of multiple repeating units. They are natural components of cell building blocks of living organisms. Hydrocolloids are soluble compounds or dispersible in water with thickening, stabilizing and gelling properties. One of them is collagencollagen, the main component of skin and tendons, it also create an organic phase of skeletal providing elasticity and flexibility of rigid bones. Improved cellular responses of the collagen/hydroxyapatite porous composites have high potential for use as hard tissue scaffolds.

Other studies have confirmed the excellent biocompatibility in the bone remodeling metabolism of these composites. These ceramic/hydrocolloid structuresceramic/hydrocolloid structures may be designed as effective devices for the controlled release of antibiotic agents. Moreover, implanted materials with polymer phase can be used in computer tomography or magnetic resonance imaging without being hindered by artifacts.
