Feature Overview

• In order to use the SimScale platform, no special hardware or software is

required - only internet access and a standard web browser.

• The user uploads a CAD model, meshes it with one of the numerous

meshing operations.

• Then prepares a simulation with one of the analysis types for structural

mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics or acoustics.

• The simulation can be initiated on different hardware configurations

after which the actual computation is carried out automatically in High

Performance Computing (HPC) centers.

• Finally, the results can either be visualized and analyzed online in the

integrated post-processing environment or downloaded for local

processing.
