Advantages Larger surface area belongs to a smaller depth, due to which the

biogas bubbles can emerge from the liquid phase faster and more easily

Floating layers can be avoided by adjusting the submersible agitators vertically

A low specific energy intake is sufficient for the complete mixing (16 W/m3)

The high activity of the methanogens may result in a higher efficiency of degradation, which can be provided by the speed and effectiveness of the agitation (190-250 mp)

Due to the larger surface for gas bubbles to emerge and the shorter travelling distance in the liquid phase the chance of foaming is very small

Each of the agitators inside the digestor can be dismounted separately which provides high mechanical safety. Due to this fact mixing can be maintained even if one of the agitators fails to operate. The stability of the fermentation process will not change and also the number of long-term shutdowns (emptying of the digestors) can be reduced to a minimum or can be fully avoided

Optional elements can be integrated (without the disassembly of the primary structure) in order to be able to recieve other kind of substrates (such as oil, fat, flotates)

The volumetric load of the digestors regarding the specific organic dry material can be even 3,2 kg organic dry material/m3*d

Due to the geometry of the digestor and the mixing technology the average dry material content inside the digestor can be even 11%

Beside liquid phase sludges the digestors are able to recieve and ferment dry consistency substrates (30-40 % dry material content), providing much higher biogas yield
