Preamplifier: NF is ~0.2 to 0.3 dB, Gain is ~30 dB, to overcome ADC noise. The preamp will be embedded in the receive coil.

Mixer: Noise floor is very important and spectral purity (especially in-band) is also important. (ADL5801, AD8342)

RF Amplifier: low noise is important, to avoid adding to the ADC noise. VGA (AF8367LF, ADL5201/2, AD8366). ADC driver (ADL5562, ADA4937-1)

ADC: Noise is the most important spec, Spurious performance is not so important. (AD9653, AD9650, AD9446, AD6655, AD6649)

Low phase noise is a must for clocks. (AD9523, ADCLK8xx, ADF4351, ADF4002)

Noise floor is very important for DAC and Mixer Spectral purity (especially in-band) is also important for DAC and Mixer Tx-DAC normally is 16-bit TxDAC, consider AD9779A/AD9788/AD9122 first.

AD9957 DDS more easy of use as more interpolation and easy of control.

Low phase noise is a must for clocks, same source as used for RX (AD9523, ADCLK8xx, ADF4351, ADF4002)

The VGA should below-noise, high-output amp. The PA can put out about 35 kW of RF power

Fitness Monitoring

Pedometer is widely used in home healthcare products, it can work with SpO2, blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, etc. to monitor the user fitness everyday, even the sleep quality.

As long as the product is smaller and the requirement on the monitoring time is longer, the built in battery has to be smaller and the system current has to be lower.

ADXL362 has the lowest power consumption on the market and its built in deep FIFO can help to realize system low power, make it very suitable for such applications.

There are multiply operation modes for consumer products UI, from button to touch and motion recognition. The picture below shows the watch which used ADXL362 to do motion recognition.
