Warm Bodies has put an end to the three weeks’ reign of
Korean film noir New World on the weekend box office.

In Warm Bodies, 23-year-old British actor Nicholas Hoult
stars as a zombie named R who befriends a human and
begins to turn into a human himself, creating an unusual
sense of excitement in the zombie community. This is
Hoult's 11th film after recording another hit with his 10th
movie, Jack The Giant Slayer, which sits at No. 9 on the
chart.
Other popular movies in the top 10n were Hollywood
fantasy Oz: The Great And Powerful, U.S. war drama
Lincoln, Italian animated pic Gladiators Of Rome,
Nicholas Hoult’s adventure fantasy Jack The Giant Slayer
and Han Suk-kyu’s spy thriller The Berlin File.
Source This horror romance picture landed at No. 1 on the chart

The largely Indian cast, including lead actor Suraj
Sharma, who Lee picked out of 3,000 teenagers, and the
Indian setting of the film is likely to appeal to Indian
movie-goers, now increasingly enamored with
Hollywood.

Ang Lee, director of "Life of Pi", won the Oscar Award for Best Director
Sunday night at the 85th Academy Awards Ceremony.
He succeeded over Michael Haneke of "Amour," Benh Zeitlin of "Beasts
of the Southern Wild," Steven Spielberg of "Lincoln" and David O. Russell of
"Silver Linings Playbook" to win the golden statute.
"Lif of Pi" is an adventure tale featuring a young man named Young Pi,
who is the son of zookeepers in Pondicherry, India, finds the world he knows
swept away when his family sells the zoo and sets sail for Canada with a few of
its remaining animals.
When a storm capsizes the ship, only Pi escapes and sets adrift in a
lifeboat that is also the refuge of an enormous Bengal tiger.
Coming from China's Taiwan, the 59-year-old Lee won the Oscar Award
for Best Foreign Language Film in 2003 for "Hulk" and got another Oscar award
for Best Director in 2005 for "Brokeback Mountain." He is the first person of
Asian descent to win the Oscar for Best Director.

"Breaking Dawn 2" gets the cold shoulder from the 2013 MTV Movie Awards
MTV announced the list of nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday, and there was one movie that shockingly didn't get much love this year: "The Twilight Saga:
Breaking Dawn -- Part 2."The finale to the "Twilight" series only received one nomination this year.
In past years, the "Twilight" films have dominated the awards ceremony. Since the movies have come out they have received a total of 23 nomination and 16 wins. But this year, only Taylor Lautner is up for a Golden Popcorn trophy for best shirtless performance.
The "Twilight" cast members are usually staples at the awards show, but with this year's snub, we wonder if Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will be no shows. And will the relentless Twihards lash out as a result of the film's lack of nominations?
And while this Twihard is the first to admit that it was time for this franchise to end, the fifth and final installment still crushed the box office, earning an impressive worldwide gross of $701.4 million.
