ROLE PLAY – NOT THE SEXUAL KIND… -.-*

This instance is for 12 people only! Different class configurations ARE (in some cases) possible. BUT, to maximize the sass and sweg of the melee's, a chanter should be in group with them to pop WoW/WoQ when necessary. 

GROUPIES!

GROUP ONE: 1 Tank, 3 DPS and 2 Healers

GROUP TWO: 1 in charge of the id crystal diamond pretties,3 DPS and 2 Healers

ROLES OF PROFESSIONSTank

Templars, when Hyperion randomly targets another player he needs to call it immediately so everyone can move accordingly. Otherwise people will die or DPS's mana will be depleted - both no bueno. 

Melee

Gladiators, Assassins. When the adds are summoned you also are responsible to kill them fast. There should be a sub-tank (gladi or temp)  to help gather the adds and bring them to DPS.

 

Ranged DPS

Rangers, Sorcerer, SM, Bard and Gunner. They DPS from the ramp while also helping kill the adds that are summoned. Cleric in group 2 should be ready to resurrect people who dies with a loci. Songweavers help with mana when you ASK for it, meaning when you can no longer cast any spells or do any skills. So keep in mind that your mana needs to be controlled and up via serums/potions/ap pots/recovery crystals/mind crystals etc. 

 

Healers

Cleric and Chanter. Each group ideally should have them and be responsible for buffiez and heals. Increasing the HP of the group can give higher stability. Bards CAN help with healing if necessary but not primary healer to really depend on. Chanters need to be FULL ELEMENTAL SCREEN spec, Cleric in group 1 needs to be FULL Benevolence spec. The Cleric in group 2 should preferably DPS spec with group heal/dispel.

WALKING INTO DESTINY(OR KATALAMIZE)

When you first enter the instance Hyperion will be protected by a powerful shield that makes him invincible, like, Batman level of invincible.  Make sure all mobs are killed and all but one generator which leaves time to mana up and prepare for boss. 

You have 20 MINUTES after you destroy the last Ide Shield generator, so place everyone in their position before challenging Hyperion to fisticuffs.

Tank: 2m distance and keep Hyperion looking at the other side.(blue circle)Gladi: 2m distance and maintain Hyperion tank in the opposite direction (green circle)DPS: Must stay at 15m from Hyperion on the spiral pathway. (purple circle)Healer(1st place): position at 9 o’clock in the map next to the pillar. (yellow circle)Healer(2nd place): position at 7 o’clock of the map with a distance of 15m from Hyperion (yellow circle)Reso person: position at 7 o’clock doin its thang.

[Hyperion normal attacks range is 16m. Keep it far away from the DPS and healers or they will be at risk. Tank and melee should be at 2m of him]

HYPERIONTank(blue circle): Must stay in its place.Gladiator(green circle): Should move to the right side near the pillar alone.DPS(pink circle): Move up the ramp close to the inner side railing. Once you get hit quickly return to your original position. All other ranged DPS moves to the wall (grey arrow)Healer(1st place yellow): Move to the wall across kind of near where the tank is.  Be careful not to stay to close to the tank.Healer(2nd place yellow): Move up the ramp close to the inner side of the railing. ADD SPAWNZ, GETZ US EVERYTIEM

When Hyperion’s health is lower than 80% he will start to summon mobs once in a while. They need to be killed in order of threat to the alliance. Mage mobs first, followed by Snipers, And then any other elite beritra balaur bitches next and last would be the non elite spider thingies.  The monsters will spawn in position A(red circle) and B(red circle), as stated if a Mage mob spawned, kill them first as it can dumb a one shot skill over ANYONES face. Up to 6 adds can be summoned at a time, players should respond depending on how many mobs appear. When non elites appears kill them with AoE damage.

ADD SPAWNZ CONTINUED

Point A Mob Spawns

Usually they come down the spiral pathway and into the center. Secondary tank should come and pull these mobs to the dps, trying to keep them off the tank.

Point B Mob Spawns 

A DPS class and a healer can defeat these mobs before they reach the center.

Trends In Hyperion’s Behaviour:

100%

3 powerful repeated aoe attacks begins the fight. The tank should placed in front of the boss while everyone else is on the ramp behind him. Noted it was said POWERFUL aoe's, so Iron Skin immediately Templars.

80%

The pattern changes. From now on, every certain time he will summon a adds. Kill them quickly and continue dpsing Hyperion. Kill the mage/ranged Balaur first and fast as possible.

60%

Hyperion creates a powerful shield and summons a large amount of adds. Kill the mobs fast and wait for the shield to disappear. At this point, DPS of the group can be sum'd up if they die before the shield is down.

45%Hyperion attacks skills cycle is shortened. Be prepared to Remove Shock. While in the shock state your party can be wiped, its extremely dangerous to stay like that, so remember to save your Remove Shock until this point25%Hyperion will once again create powerful shields and summons a large amount of mobs. Kill them fast and wait for the shield to disappear.10%Hyperion kinda gets a wee bit pissed. He will use all his skills and continuously spawn mobs. This is the burn phase, use DP skills and any type of survival skills and finish Hyperion.IGNORE.THE.ADDS.OK?!

DAYUM HYPERION, U GOT SKILLZ

Some of the skills are of earth type so be ready with the right defence, in particular the skill that damages for 17,000 so its essential to be ready. 

Powerful Energy Blast: An extremely powerful AoE that Hyperion starts off with and throughout the fight. Needs to be called out by Templars who the boss is targeting for it so they can move accordingly

Cast Ide Energy: Another power AoE that doesn't drain HP but it drains MP, Tanks also need to call out who will receive the hit so they can move accordingly

Eerie Howl: Wide area damage, DoT, changes attack patterns, and adds will spawn right after.

Aerial Sweep: Damage and stun everyone, be ready to use remove shock.

Takedown: Powerful wide area damage, makes additional damage if the target is stun.

Ide energy sphere: Damage to a target and people around them. Should also be called by tank.

Ide Aetheric Field: For 40 seconds Hyperion will put up a shield, not attack a single target, and summon adds

ID CRYSTAL DIAMOND PRETTIESResonatorsThis can be ANY ranged dps with LOTS of offensive stats but preferably done by rangers. Resonators the most important but most boring job of this instance. If you do not do this correctly, it will wipe the group AND completely blow everyone's c/d's as there is no second chances

 Resonators are an Elite Class / 32,000 HP / No Attacks-When the instance starts they will appear at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. Four devices- After a period of time they will appear again- The devices give Hyperion an invincible shield. It is indestructible- They also give Hyperion a damage buff and makes him even more powerful- With four buffs and he will wipe the entire group and disappear.- 40 seconds after killing them they will appear again.

BARDS CAN DO THESE, DON’T THINK THEY’RE ONLY MANA HEALERS… HEALING MANA WASTES DPS
