1.Water pollution Water covers over 70% of the Earth’s.Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater. Water pollution occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into water bodies without adequate treatment to remove harmful compounds.Water pollution affects plants and organisms living in these bodies of water. In almost all cases the effect is damaging not only to individual species and populations, but also to the natural biological communities.

2.Air Pollutants

Air is a mixture of gases and without it animals and plants cannot live.A pollutant can be of natural origin or man-made. Air pollution is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air. Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollution in cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog.Chemical reactions involving air pollutants can create acidic compounds which can cause harm to vegetation and buildings.

3. Deforestation

Deforestation is the permanent destruction of indigenous forests and woodlands. Indigenous forests now cover 21% of the earth's land surface. Deforestation occurs for many reasons: trees are cut down to be used or sold as fuel sometimes in the form of charcoal or timber, while cleared land is used as pasture for livestock. The removal of trees without sufficient reforestation has resulted in damage to habitat, biodiversity loss and aridity. Disregard or ignorance of intrinsic value, lack of ascribed value, lax forest management and deficient environmental laws are some of the factors that allow deforestation to occur on a large scale.

4. Endangered species

An endangered species is a species of organisms that will likely become extinct. Many nations have laws that protect conservation reliant species: for example, forbidding hunting, restricting land development, or creating preserves. The conservation status of a species indicates the likelihood that it will become extinct. Many factors are considered when assessing the conservation status of a species; e.g., such statistics as the number remaining, the overall increase or decrease in the population over time, breeding success rates, or known threats.Over 40% of species are estimated to be at risk extinction.

5. RubbishA landfill site is a site for the disposal of waste materials by burial and is the oldest form of waste treatment. Historically, landfills have been the most common method of organized waste disposal and remain so in many places around the world.Landfills may cause a number of problems. Damage can include infrastructure disruption, such as damage to access roads by heavy vehicles. Pollution of the local environment may occur as well, such as contamination of groundwater or aquifers by leakage or sinkholes or soil contamination.
