In 1962, with the commencement of operations at his first flour mill in Chennai, India, Mr.K.Sreenivasan made the transition from a trader to an industrialist.

He was quick to capitalize on the misfortune of the local competition and flexible enough to take advantage of business opportunities. Within the first 25 years of business, he expanded his production to seven mills in three locations.

Throughout Naga’s history, its flagship company has been and remains Naga Limited Foods.

4 wheat flour mills with a totally daily milling capacity of 800 tonnes per day.

The company`s milling activities have been consolidated into a single strategically located campus in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India.

With 150,000 tons production per annum, NAGA Limited Foods is one of the largest wheat milling Companies in South India.

ITC, Britannia, Parle are some of the names who have been in long association with us being prime customers who directly source from us for their regular requirement.

NAGA LIMITED RETAIL

NAGA Retail Division manages over 200 stock keepers in the State covering over 30% of retail stores.

The brand NAGA is touching the lives of many customers in some way in the State of Tamil Nadu as every second biscuit consumed is manufactured out of NAGA maida.

The Group owns sufficient land and developed properties, spread over different locations in the State of Tamil Nadu. NAGA Limited owns a multiplex in Dindigul. This has been given on a long lease rental to ADLABS. Seventy five thousand square foot area in Dindigul, owned by the group, are given on a long lease rental to Hindustan Uniliver Ltd (HUL). A large area at Muthupetai is given on lease to raise shrimps every year on rotational basis.

The factory, inaugurated in 1992, is located in Vedasandur. This Division is one of the largest manufacturers of high quality detergents, laundry soaps and toilet soap.

Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) is one of the leading multinationals who are in long association being a prime customer .

The Company has adopted environment friendly renewable form of energy for meeting the power requirements of its various Divisions.The Company owns six Wind Mills. 3 Wind Mills are installed in Pazhuvur (in Nagercoil District) and one windmill installed in Pattakuruchi (in Thenkasi District). Two Wind Mills are installed in a place known as Dharapuram.. 1 Wind is installed in a place known as Panangudi.

For catering to the needs of fillers for our Detergents Division, grinding unit was set up in 1995. This Division is capable of grinding calcite, dolomite, china clay, feldspar, limestone and other minerals.

• NAGA Limited is also owning and maintaining freight carrier transport facilities.

• These are mainly used to reach the NAGA branded products to the interior pockets of the State for catering to the rural and semi rural populace.

Future scenario ,

Over the next 25 years, the company

diversified into solvents extraction, pasta,

spinning mill, detergents, minerals and much

more.

Flour mills are completely automated plants

supplied by Buhler, Switzerland.
