Need Assessment 1. Myanmar National Food Standard? Still following CODEX?

2. There is a Food Safety Management System is it enforced effectively?

3. Public awareness and participation?

4. Is there proper guideline and reinforcement in food safety of individual food processing, handling and retail selling?

5. Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Hygiene Practices?

6. Is there effective enforcement on type and dosage of pesticides?7. How do we handle Peanut, corn, chilly powder, all kind of powder such as

rice, chick pea, herbs, etc. which are susceptible Aflatoxin which might be the main cause of cancer in Myanmar?

8. Is use of preservatives and colors properly managed?

9. We know the gaps. How to close them?
