MEET ADAM:

He died from testicular cancer.

Page 2: Preventing testicular cancer

He was always at risk of testicular cancer because of the discomfort and pain in the testicle as well as feeling of heaviness in the scrotum

He would also constantly complain about the pain in the back and lower abdomen

Page 3: Preventing testicular cancer

He did however, after a month go to see a doctor about it and the tests confirmed

testicular cancer.

One morning, during a shower, He noticed a lump on one of his testicles but ignored it thinking that it has always been there…

The exact cause of testicular cancer is unknown. But Adam could have researched a little bit about some of the causes, incidence,

and risk factors that may increase you chances of getting the cancer.

There is no link between vasectomy and testicular cancer. Factors that may increase a man's risk for testicular cancer

include:Abnormal testicle development

History of testicular cancerHistory of undescended testicle,

Other possible causes include exposure to certain chemicals and HIV infection. A family history of testicular cancer may also

increase risk.

Had he been more aware of the risks and symptoms of the testicular cancer, and would he have taken some preventative measures…today Adam would have been able to educate us about this terrible disease and many others as he was planning to further his education in cancer research .
