The Warrington Bombings. In 1993, there were two attacks in Warrington, England: The first one was on a gas

storage facility, causing huge damage, but no fatalities.

The second attack was on Brigde Street, killing two children and injured

around 54 people.

The Cranberries is a band formed at the end of the 80’s. In the begining, the band was called The Cranberry Saw Us.

Brothers Noel and Mike Hogan (guitarist and bassist, respectively) formed the band in Limerick, Ireland with the

drummer Fergal Lawler in 1990. They wanted a female singer, so Dolores O’Riordan auditioned and she entered to the band. The Cranberries’ debut album, “Everybody Else Is

Doing It, So Why Can’t We?”, was released in the spring 1993, followed by the single “Dreams”. After a lot of

problems about organization, The Cranberries officially declared that they were taking a break. This finnally gave O’Riordan the time she needed to work on her long-talked-

about solo album.
