특징 )

1. 병변의 activity 는 치아표면에 형성된 plaque 의 질감 , 색에 근거하여 판단

2. Prescriptive method

Specific criteria 를 근거로 치아우식 진행 등급책정

ICDAS(International Caries Detection and Assess-ment System)

• 각 score 의 총합으로 activity 판단• Total score of 4~7 : inactive lesion• Total score > 7 : active lesion

ICDAS(International Caries Detection and Assess-ment System)

• Resin block 에 매몰 후 slice 하여 검사 ( 두께 약 250μm , stere-omicroscope 이용 )

• 5-point scale– D0 = no caries– D1 = caries lesion limited to the outer half of the enamel– D2 = caries extending into inner half of the enamel but

not to amelo-dentineal junction– D3 = caries limited to the outer half of the dentine– D4 = caries involving the inner half of the dentine

1. 두 개의 System 모두에서 재현성이 좋음

2. ICDAS system 의 경우 enamel 병소를 두 단계로 나누기 때문에 조직학적 특성과 좀 더 일치한다 .
