THE PROMOTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN ISRAELN.
B. Brudnik
Senior researcher Nanergy
Tel-Aviv University, Center for nanotechnology
.
-,
The world's first filling station for servicing electric vehicles in Israel was
opened in 2011 in KiryatEkron, near Rehovot. Currently has more than 1,000 outlets
for recharging electric vehicles. Now the owner of a motor vehicle with an electric
motor can replace a discharged battery in just a few minutes.
Now the car owner with the promotion of electric vehicles in Israel, the
company Better Place is planning to open about 40 stations for electric vehicles
across the country. The company Better Place has signed contracts with 400 Parking
lots, on which points will be set to service electric vehicles. To replace a discharged
battery can already 200 Israeli car parks.
The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that at a gas station electric car
will be fast at all on a special platform, which will be replacing the battery. The
whole procedure takes less than five minutes.Meanwhile, the charging of a
discharged battery takes about six hours (battery only lasts 185 kilometers).

The charging of a discharged battery takes about six hours (battery only lasts
185 kilometers). The battery charge level is displayed on the dashboard of a car and
driver will be when the time comes to recharge the battery. Battery electric vehicles
will be charged always, because the filling will be close to home.
In the near future we plan to build stations to service electric vehicles
throughout Israel. The station will meet all environmental requirements and safety
standards. Replacing the batteries in electric cars will be available.
Sales of electric Renault Fluence ZE at an affordable price is from 2011. Israel
will save on electric cars a lot of money. The total project cost equal to the amount
spent weekly in Israel on gasoline. Moving to electric vehicles, the Israelites will
become less dependent on hostile to the Jewish state Arab countries.

SOLUTION WASTE IN ISRAEL
B. Brudnik
Tel-Aviv University, Center of Nanotechnology
. - ,
IsraelisrecordholdersOECDproducinggarbage. A comparative study by the
Organization for economic cooperation and development showed that the Israelis produce
much more household waste than the residents of other developed countries. Israelis weekly
thrown in the garbage 70 liters of household waste per capita, and average for the OECD is 42
litres. We produce nearly five times more rubbish than the Swiss, almost twice that of the
French and Swedes, and half times more than its neighbours around the Mediterranean, the
Spaniards.
Who participated in the study the Professor Ophir Ilon had suggested that perhaps due
to the lack of Israel financial incentives to cut production garbage, lack of infrastructure
separation of household waste and the relative large families of Israeli families. The survey,
however, until People living in such unions, take out the garbage 75 liters of garbage in the
week, the bachelors and lone - only 70 liters. The least wasteful families with two children,

weekly production of waste per capita is 65 liters. More families with many children already
produce more waste.
Pepper declared war polyethylene packages. In the Ministry of environment of Israel,
led by Amir Peretz, has developed a bill that will prohibit the practice of distribution to buyers
of disposable plastic bags in retail networks free of charge. It is supposed that at the first stage
of the citizens of the country, Privex% Amir Pepper, presenting the draft, believes that the
plastic bag should disappear from Israel's nature and Israeli culture. The production of such
packages is 80 million shekels a year, but their price is included in the cost of food products
and paid by the consumer. Pepper told that has made it his mission to rid the country of
disposable packages as soon as the press release of the Ministry of ecology mentioned figure
is in the world each year are killed 100 thousand animals due to the fact that they swallow
plastic bags. In addition, their production is spent precious oil products. According to the
survey conducted by the Ministry of ecology, 70% of Israelis support the termination of the
free distribution of plastic paketo. In some European countries, as well as in California in the
United States have laws prohibiting the free distribution of these packages to customers.
An analysis of international waste handling methods and to develop a strategy for
Israel. According to international experts, professionals and Expert Center, currently the most
appropriate, in line with current environmental requirements and urban cities of Israel, is the
technology of BIO-OIL, developed in Germany. BIO-OIL is already well known as a
technology that produces the Processing waste is clean environment in the city, and
environmentally friendly fuel that will be used on the roads of Israel. In Israel - more than 77
landfills - urban and regional. They are objects of introduction of technologies of BIO-OIL.
Green technology is the production of oil and gas refining of carbonic household and
industrial distillate is a good source of raw materials for production of oil products - gasoline,
black oil and others. Moreover, the distillate obtained in the form of a directly applicable as
diesel fuel for large diesel engines in shipping, power generation, large pumping installations.
Experts note two important features - the cost of artificially produced oil is almost twice lower
than the world prices for natural oil (and market price is 50% higher), and, not less important,
high processing during processing, as artificial oil distillate, contains no sulphur, no
mechanical impurities, nor any strange chemical compounds. And, in fact, developed a
green technologies fill the existing gap in this industrial-consumer chain, relevant for all
countries of the world. Was - despite the fact that the need for efficient recycling nobody
denies, moreover - it is waiting for her in this market, receipt of wastes of oil and gas is often
meets.
Company-producer of the new technology is ready for it - and demonstrates specific
documents, expert conclusions, the description of the industrial technology - installation, pre-
treatment, the economic rationale - the calculation of the volume for cities with varying
population size and much more. Reprocessing plants use all kinds, as is known, landfills, in
Copyright & A K-C
26
almost all cities are reprimanded for residents, and regional - residents. And it is clear why -
not only that suffers ecology (waste pollute the earth and the atmosphere), landfills do not add
to the city, no beauty, no fresh air. The state is investing significant funds in the process of
training places for waste collection, the Environmentalists point directly at them harm to
environment and health hazards for the inhabitants of the cities. In recent years the statistics of
the world surely indicates the growth of cancer.

PREPAREINSPECIALISTECOLOGY
L.S.Ibraeva
Semipalatinsk state teacher training college, Kazakhstan
It will give to students ecologists of knowledge in the field of the chemistry,
necessary for studying of special disciplines, allows to carry out the analysis of the main
environmental problems and reflection to them chemical aspects. The most serious of the
main problems of chemical ecology and environmental protection biogeochemical
problems of heavy metals, studying of sources of their receipt in natural components,
development of new methods of definition of these metals and, the main thing,
rehabilitation of a soil cover and the natural waters polluted by heavy metals [2]. The
standard program for the course "Chemistry" for the specialty 050608 "Ecology", provides
the purpose formation at students of ideas of environment chemistry: lithospheres,
hydrospheres and the atmospheres through studying of structure, a structure, sources of
pollution, migration of chemical elements and chemical elements and the chemical
processes proceeding in them. In turn, consideration of chemistry of elements is supposed
on the basis of theoretical chemistry which includes such main sections as the modern
theory of a structure of atom, elements of chemical thermodynamics, modern theories of a
chemical bond, solutions. Considerably the smaller volume of the hours which are taken
away on studying of theoretical fundamentals of inorganic chemistry and chemistry of
elements for the specialty "Ecology" (180 h. on all course "Chemistry"), from them a half

on studying of organic chemistry) in comparison with the volume of hours for vocational
education (180 h. only on the course "Chemistry of Elements" for the specialty
"Chemistry"), demands strictly material selection on problems of heavy metals. It should be
noted foresight of authors of the standard program of discipline "Chemistry" in 050608
"Ecology", chosen for consideration in the section "Chemistry of Elements of Secondary
Subgroups" only elements: manganese, chrome, iron, copper, silver, gold, zinc, cadmium,
the mercury, which most part belongs to heavy metals and represents an actual problem in
respect of anthropogenous impact on environment which is studied by the separate schools
known in the Republic of Kazakhstan and beyond its limits [3]. The special attention
when studying the section "Chemistry of Elements of Secondary Subgroups" is paid to
establishment of relationships of cause and effect "structure property". Chemical processes
of natural waters (the acid and main of balance, oxidation-reduction reactions, a complex
formation), types of migration of chemical elements and other aspects of biogeochemistry
of these elements, important for environmental professionals can be clear in case the student
it is good to know character of chemical bonds in connections, the reason of tendency to a
complex formation, ability of these or those forms of connections to oxidation or
restoration. In respect of realization of a regional component by consideration of the
questions "Fields of Elements of Secondary Subgroups in Kazakhstan", "The chemical
industry. The low-waste and waste-free chemical industry", provided by the standard
program, to students is offered to make the review about fields and production of some
heavy metals in the East Kazakhstan region, the review of scientific publications on
research of these metals which are carried out on chair of ecology Semipalatinsk state
teacher training college. "Chemistry" is aware there is also a formation of practical abilities
of future ecologists on experimental studying of a problem of heavy metals. Such laboratory
works as "Determination of equivalent mass of metals", "Preparation of solutions of the set
concentration", "Receiving complex connections", "Distillation and identification of
composition of sewage of the industrial enterprises" and others, form skills which are
necessary for analytical, research work of the ecologist. Further these skills are fixed and got
new when studying special course "Analytical chemistry", when performing course and
theses.
