Prerequisites

• Appointed early in the projects life cycle

• Should form part of the Clients Team

• Should be suitably experienced with similar projects in size and complexity

• Do not produce Design & Construction BIMs

• Clash Detection & Reports

• Produce the Employers Information Requirements (EIR’s), Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) including any Project BIM Templates

• Primary role is to Manage & Coordinate the BIMs not the production of model and deliverables

• Should be in a position to manage sub-contractors BIM deliverables, technicians and the BIMs

• Ensure construction BIMs meet the design intent

• Key contact for BIMs & their deliverables

• Coordinate the sequencing and scheduling of resources to arrive on site at predetermined times.

• Prepare BIM Progress Reports (BPR’s)
