DYNCORP INTERNATIONAL – Sr. Operations and Maintenance Manager (June 2012 to July 2013) Fort Worth, TX

Operations and Maintenance oversight of Facilities, Power Generation, Electrical Distribution, Equipment and Fleet Management for US Department of Defense forces under LOGCAP IV contract in Southern Afghanistan. Supervised a staff of four managers supporting over 4,000 field personnel who were tasked with maintaining a fleet of 3000 electrical generators and 3000 pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on a project totaling over $10.5 billion. Tracked equipment returns from the battlefield to the supplier to ensure relief and termination of contractual agreements. This position required a DOD security.

GENESIS SOLUTIONS – Senior Reliability Engineer (Contract position at TMPA Power January 2012 to June 2012) Bryan, TX

Managed equipment walk down teams of both contractors and plant personnel, compiling asset information and location on over 1300 pieces of fixed and rotating equipment. Researched vendor supplied information and followed up with OEM representatives to produce pricing and Bills of Material for accurate tracking and ordering follow up. We completed the

project within budget and on time (20 weeks) to meet customer expectations and provided viable information for updating their CMMS system.

PINNACLE TECHNICAL RESOURCES - Reliability Specialist (Contract position at Luminant Power May 2010 to September 2011) Grand Prairie, Texas

Tracked the review of Planned and Predictive maintenance plans on over 65 thousand pieces of equipment to generate between 2% and 8% reduction in equipment down time. Expected return on the project was in excess of $100 million savings annually. This was a unique approach for the power generation industry since all preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance functions were being evaluated throughout the company’s lignite coal burning fleet.

GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION – (1989 – 2009) Martinsburg, West Virginia and Arlington, Texas

Various positions from Facilities Maintenance Representative, to Skilled Trades Supervisor to Operations Supervisor in two different plants. As the Assistant Department manager, coordinated approximately 75 personnel involved with over 1,300 maintenance tasks per month improving maintenance performance from 35% to better than a 92% completion ratio, and 50% pro-active time. Developed and implemented the Emergency Response for Facilities department to meet various scenarios. Resolved a $1 million discrepancy in fixed assets for taxable inventory purposes through equipment walk downs and verification (book to floor review). Developed, implemented and tracked the database for CMMS (Maximo) on over 5,000 pieces of resident equipment. Utilized different computer programs to produce management reports with SQL and Excel on maintenance functions and tasks. Led Production and Maintenance Partnership (PMP) workshops to standardize machine operations, utilizing Kaizen, Lean and 5S methodologies improving safety, ergonomics and output. Successfully passed eight internal safety and three ISO 9001 audits.

MILITARY EXPERIENCE

UNITED STATES NAVY, Lieutenant (1985 – 1989)

As a Surface Warfare Officer qualified Division Officer performed additional duties of Command Duty Officer, Alternate 3M Coordinator, SNAP II Coordinator and Helicopter Control Officer. Duties included Division Officer for Electrical, Second and STREAM divisions; progressed to Assistant First Lieutenant, Assistant Chief Engineer (department leaders) and Scheduled Repair Activity Coordinator. As Damage Control Locker leader organized and trained personnel to meet battle readiness conditions ensuring structural integrity, firefighting and flooding control measures were above standards. The ship’s crew received the Battle Efficiency Award and Commodore’s Letter of Appreciation for readiness and capabilities in the last deployment overseas.
