What is Active Voice?

Active Voice คอรปประโยคทมประธานของประโยค เปนผแสดงกรยานนโดยตรง

Verb (กรยา) แบงเปนสองแบบ

- Transitive Verb ( กรยาทมกรรมมารบ )

Ex. He writes a letter to John.

- Intransitive Verb ( กรยาทไมตองมกรรมมารบ )

Ex. He goes to school every day.

What is Passive Voice?

Passive Voice คอรปประโยคทประธานของประโยค เปนผถกกระท า

Verb เปน Transitive Verb

Ex. A letter is written by Jack.

An apple was eaten by my brother

Passive Voice

A flower is kicked to her by him.

His dog was killed a week ago.

หลกการเปลยนประโยคActive Voice เปน Passive Voice

1. สลบต าแหนง ประธาน (Subject) ในประโยค Active Voice

มาเปน กรรม (Object) ในประโยค Passive Voice

2. น า กรรม (Object) ในประโยค Active Voice

มาเปน ประธาน (Subject) ในประโยค Passive Voice

3. กรยาแท ในประโยค ตองตามหลง Verb to be และเปลยนกรยานน

เปน กรยาชองท 3 ( past participle )

4. ใช Verb to be ใหถกตองตาม Tense ในประโยค

A cake was made by mother.

A motorcycle is being ridden by John.

A fish is being eaten by a cat.

By whom was I called?

John shot Jane yesterday. John was shot yesterday.

I built a house. A house was built (by me).

Passive Voice(S + V. to be + V3 + by Obj.)

A cat eats a rat.

= A rat is eaten by a cat.

A cat ate a rat.

= A rat was eaten by a cat.

= What are eaten by you?

What did he drink?

= What was drunk by him?

Who killed him?

= By whom was he killed?

Who stole money?

= By whom was money stolen?

ถา Passive Voice เปนประโยคค าสง ใหท าดงน

( Let + obj. + be + V3 )

Close the window.

= Let the window be closed.

ถา Passive Voice เปนประโยคค าสงหาม ใหท าดงน

( Don’t let + obj. + be + V3 )

Don’t eat it.

= Don’t let it be eaten.
