The Arabian Company for Events & Projects Ltd. (ACE Events) is proud to present Ejadah Confex, the first of its kind Saudi Creative Economy Exhibition and Conference. The event aims to boost the diversification of the Saudi economy in different methods focusing on an improved creative local society and initiatives. and transitioning to a knowledge based economy led by innovation. The event will also raise awareness on Intellectual Property giving full rights for local innovators to protect their designs and inventions. Ejadah targets to provide a combination of keynote sessions, workshop, competitions and opportunities, and exposure to those with creative background who want to enhance or develop their image in the field through an exhibition platform.

ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE D E V E L O P M E N T The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development entitled the future we want, acknowledges the importance of culture and cultural diversity for sustainable development and arguing that investments in identity, innovation and creativity c a n h e l p t o b u i l d n e w deve lopment pa thways fo r individuals, local communities, a n d c o u n t r i e s .
E N H A N C E M E N T O F C O M P E T I T I V E N E S S As a recent UNCTAD research shows, the share of developing country exports in the world trade of creative goods and services has reached a total exports reaching $631 billion in 2011. the bulk of these exports in being produced in large and medium-sized cities and comprise arts, crafts and design products mobilizing as specific competitive advantages that may initially possess a certain identity.
According to the set Long-Term Strategy (LTS) for the Saudi Economy, focusing on promoting the Creative and Cultural Economy assists in achieving the following

R E G I O N A L A N D A R A B I N T E G R A T I O N The last few decades witnessed remarkable progress in economic cooperation, both in the Gulf and wider Arab region, with the Kingdom playing a crucial role. Through Ejadah, the Kingdom introduces the latest trends and development in creativity creating a constructive and effective interaction with all states of the world, within a framework of increasing integration at the Gulf, Arab and i n t e r n a t i o n a l l e v e l s .
A N A C T I V E & ENTREPRENEURIAL PRIVATE S E C T O R With Ejadah’s program, we are emphasizing on raising the awareness bar on Intellectual Property giving opportunities for locals to go creative while assuring they’re ideas are being protected. We are also encouraging the development of private sectors by securing funds to creative ideas.
MANPOWER & EMPLOYMENT The size of the labor force has been determined using the rate of national labor participation and the est imated s ize of the population of working age. Ejadah p ro m o t e s e m p l oy m e n t by providing job opportunities for the national workforce. In addition, new exclusive educational programs in creativity will be introduced by the initiated professionals in the event.
