The 2016 edition of theJayco Herald Sun touralways attracts hugeattention and a massiveaudience, but is set toexceed previous figuresthis year due to theparticipation of 2 x timeTour De France winner –and current reigningchampion – Chris Froome,arguably the world’s mostfamous cyclist.

The cyclists leave thestart ramp one by oneat regular intervalsover the course of thetwo hours.The screen, located atFederation Square inthe CBD, is situatedbehind the riders onthe start line.

The huge super screen issituated on Southbankwhere hoards of crowdsgather at the vantagepoint behind the finishingline.

The screen at the top of Arthurs Seatwill be positioned just beyond thefinish line and will be the centralviewing point for the race throughoutthe stage. The finish area is one of themajor congregation points forspectators, VIPs and team officials.
