Leading Provider of Learning Resources
• A series of multi media learning resources designed to teach essential skills in the areas of work and independent travel
• Training focuses on the development of practical and life-orientated skills that students will actually need in order to work and travel
Multi Media Based Learning Resources
• Designed specifically for transition students and individuals with intellectual disabilities (work readiness, travel, vocational and life skills ‘learning’)
• Suitable for individuals who have low levels of numeracy/literacy
• Support different learning styles and modes (includes text/photographs, computer-based interactive exercises, videos, animations)
• A complete training package that addresses the whole issue of independent travel
• Developed for any individual with low literacy levels who has limited independent travel skills and road safety awareness
• It is 100% trainer led and uses pictures, animations, sounds and videos to support teaching and make it fun to use and easy to understand
Travel Training Pack contains
• Student workbook with 12 activities
• Detailed Trainer’s notes with individualsession plans for each of the 12 activities• Animation station to illustrate theory
• Sound bytes to represent sounds that you might hear when you are out and about
