Supplication of Morning

O God bless Muhammad (S) and his Household (a.s)

پر اال ملسو هيلع هللا ىلصاے اللہ ! رحمت نازل فرما محمد اور انکی


O God bless Muhammad (S) and his Household (a.s)

اے اللہ ! اے وہ ذات جس نے اپنے روشن کلام سے صبح کی ذبان کو گویا کیا


dispatched the fragments of the dark night into the gloom of its stammering

اور اندھیری رات کو لرزتی تاریکی سمیت بھیج دیا


made firm the structure of the turning spheres in the measures of its display

ااسمان کی ساخت کو اس کی زینت کے پیمانوں سے محکم کیا اور گھومتے


and beamed forth the brightness of the sun through the light of its blazing

اور سورج کی روشنی کو اسکے نور فروزاں سے چمکایا


Oh He who demonstrates His Essence by His Essence

اے وہ کہ جس نے اپنے وجود کو ہی اپنی ذات کی دلیل بنایا


transcends congeneity with His creatures

اور) اے وہ ذات جو( اپنی مخلوقات کا ہم جنس ہونے سے پاک ہے


and is exalted beyond conformity with His qualities

اور) اے وہ ذات جو( اپنی کیفیتوں کے مطابقت سے بالاتر ہے


Oh He who is near to the passing thoughts of opinions

اوراے وہ ذات جو )میرے( خیالات سے بھی قریب تر ہے


far from the regards of eyes

اانکھوں اور حد نظر سے بہت دور ہے اوراے وہ ذات جو )میری(


and knows what will be before it comes to be!

اور ہر شے کے ہونے سے پہلے اسے جانتا ہے


Oh He who has put me at ease in the cradle of His security and sanctuary

سلایا اوراے وہ ذات جس نے مجھے اپنے امن و سلامتی کے گہوارے میں


awakened me to the favors and kindness that He has bestowed upon me

اور مجھے اپنی عطاکردہ بخشش اوراحسان کی جانب بیدار )متوجہ( کیا


and held from the claws of evil with His hand and His force!

برائی کے پنجوں کو میری جانب بڑھنے سے روکا اور اپنی قدرت و اقتدار سے


Bless, oh God, the guide to Thee in the darkest night

اے اللہ ! رحمت فرما اس پر جو تاریک راتوں میں تیری طرف رہنمائی کرنے والا ہے


him who, of Thy ropes, clings to the cord of the longest nobility

اس پر جوتیرے سہارے شرف)عزت( کی طویل ) اور اے اللہ ! رحمت فرما(سسی کو تھامنے والا ہے )اور پائیدار( ر


him whose glory is evident at the summit of stout shoulders

اس خاندان پر جو بلندی کے اعتبار سے )تیرے ) اور اے اللہ ! رحمت فرما( سرخ رو ہے نذدیک (


and whose feet were entrenched in spite of slippery places in ancient time

جو ازل سےہی لغزشوں کے موقع پر ثابت قدم رہنے والا ہے )اس پر(


and [bless] his household, the good, the chosen, the pious,

لل پر جو نیکوکار اور برگزیدہ ہیں اا اور)رحمت نازل فرما( انکی


And open for us, oh God, the leaves of morning's door with the keys of mercy and prosperity!

اور اے اللہ !اپنی رحمت کی چابی سے ہمارے لیے صبح کی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے


Clothe me, oh God, with the most excellent robes of guidance and righteousness!

اور اے اللہ ! ہمیں اپنے نیکی اور ہدایت کا بہترین لباس پہنا


Plant, oh God, through Thy tremendousness, the springs of humility in the watering place of my heart

بھجادے اور اے اللہ ! اپنی رحمت اور خوف سے میرے دل کی پیاس کو


Cause to flow, oh God, because of Thy awesomeness, tears of moaning from the corner of my eyes

اانسو جاری کر اانکھوں سے اور اے اللہ ! اپنی ہیبت و عظمت سے میری دے


And chastise, oh God, the recklessness of my clumsiness with the reins of contentment!

اور اے اللہ ! میرے حماقتوں کو صبر وقناعت کی لگام سے ادب سکھا


My God, if mercy from Thee does not begin with fair success for me؟

ااغاز نہیں ہوتا ،اور اے اللہ ! اگر تیری رحمت سے میری توفیقات کا


then who can take me to Thee upon the evident path?

تو مجھے تیری )سیدھی( راہ کی طرف کون لے جاتا؟


If Thy deliberateness would turn me over to the guide of hope and wishes

امیدوں اور نفسانی خواہشات میں اور اگرتیری )دی ہوئی( ڈھیل نے مجھے اضافہ کرنے پر چھوڑ دیا ہوتا


then who will annul my slips from the stumbles of caprice?

تو پھر کون مجھے خواہشات کی ٹھوکروں سے میری لغزشوں کو ختم کرتا؟


If Thy help should forsake me in the battle with the soul and Satan

اور اگر نفسانی خواہشات اور شیطان کے خلاف جنگ میں تیری مدد شامل نہ ہوتی


then Thy forsaking will have entrusted me to where there is hardship and deprivation

تو پھر یقینا تیری دوری نے مجھے سختی اور محرومی کے حوالے کر دیا ہوتا


My God, dost Thou see that I have only come to Thee from the direction of hopes

اایا امیدوں کے ساتھ تیرے پاس اے اللہ تو دیکھ رہا ہے کہ میں )بہت سی( ہوں


clung to the ends of Thy cords when my sins have driven me from the house of union?

سسی کے سروں کو اس وقت تھاما جب میرے گناہوں نے )یا پھر( میں نےتیری رمجھے تیری ملاقات سے دور کر دیا


So what an evil mount upon which my soul has mounted - its caprice!

سسی کے سروں کو اس وقت تھاما جب میرے گناہوں نے )یا پھر( میں نےتیری رمجھے تیری ملاقات سے دور کر دیا


Woe upon it for being seduced by its own opinions and wishes!

اارزو نے میرے نفس کو فریب دیا پس افسوس ہو میری خواہشا ت پر جن کی


My God, I have knocked upon the door of Thy mercy with the hand of my hope,

اے اللہ میں نے امید کے ہاتھوں تیری رحمت کے دروازے پر دستک دی ہے


fled to Thee seeking refuge from my excessive caprice

اایا ہوں اور اپنی بے حد خواہشوں سے )ڈر کر( تیرے پاس پناہ کے لیے


and fixed the fingers of my love to the ends of Thy cords.

اور میں نے اپنی محبت کی انگلیوں سے تیرے دامن رحمت کو تھام رکھا ہے


and release me from the foot-tangling of my robe.

پس اے میرے اللہ! جو گناہ میں نے لغزشوں اور خطائوں کی وجہ سے کئے ہیں انہیں معاف فرما دے

For Thou art my Master, my Protector, my Support and my Hope

ااقا ، میرا مولا، میرا سہارا اور میری امید ہے کیوں کہ تو ہی میر


and Thou art the object of my search and my desire in my ultimate end and stable abode

ااخرت میں میرا مطلوب اور مقصد ہے اور تو ہی دنیا اور


My God, how couldst Thou drive away a poor beggar who seeks refuge in Thee from sins, fleeing?

تو اس مسکین کو کیسے رد کرے گا جو گناہوں سے فرار کر میرے اللہ ! کے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہے ؟


Or how couldst Thou disappoint one seeking guidance who repairs to Thy threshold, running?

یا اس طالب ہدایت کو کیسے مایوس کرے گا جو تیری بارگاہ میں )دوڑتا ہوا( اایا ہے؟


Never! For Thy pools are full in the hardship of drought, Thy door is open for seeking and penetration

اایا تو کیسے رد کرے گا جو تیرے حوض پر پیاس بجھانے یا اس پیاسے کو ہو؟
