As a UX specialist..

• I have unique combination of leadership and business development
competencies strengthened with UX professional skills both
specialist and management roles from innovation to end products. I
conceptualize and orchestrate UX strategy that effectively reinforce
user engagement and loyalty and I excel at making UX goals,
innovation, time and technological constraints match with business
challenges.
• I have earned considerable experiences on different
R&D projects during my PhD studies in Finland and
past professional career as a R&D executive in
Pakistan, and as a project assistant in Sweden. I am
an experienced and passionate ICT industry
professional specializing in UX area with excellent
communication skills and ability to work in

organizations.

• I have substantial expertise on conducting structured interviews,
semi-structured interviews, paper-based questionnaires, online
questionnaires, usability tests, surveys, electronic diary study,
UX Curve method, user experience (UX) evaluation, long-term
UX evaluation, multi-component products UX evaluation, and
use case testing.
• In addition, during my postgrad studies, I have developed my
personal skills e.g. in task analysis, usability and UX research
methods, UX evaluation and design methods, contextual
inquiries, personas, user scenarios, storyboards, wireframes,
user experience design, PLEX cards, experience driven design,
paper prototyping, focus groups, participant observation,
human-centered design, and project management. These
experiences have polished my abilities to analyze the problems from
users´ perspective in order to provide optimal solutions complied
with users´ requirements.

PhD Research Case 1: Long-term
User Experience Evaluation of
Suunto Quest

• In July, 2011 I started my journey as a PhD student at TUT. During
the Licentiate degree, I have finished a research study with Finnish
company Suunto. The research case is based on long-term UX
evaluation of multi-component product named “Suunto Quest”.
During the Licentiate degree, I have written 2 research papers and
the papers have submitted to the conferences.
The titles of the research papers are:
1) Identifying the User Experience Factors of a Multi-Component
Sports Product.
2) Comparing the Efficiency of Electronic Diary and UX Curve
Methods in Multi-Component Product Study.
