Materials needed:
• Foam flower & leaf shapes in various colors & sizes
• 1-2 7/8” tall galvanized bucket
• 1-1 15/16” x 2 7/8” round Styrofoam floral piece
• 1 gift tag• 27” long piece of ribbon• 6 pieces of floral wire• Glue gun• Colored paper shreds• Hole punch• Newspaper
Step 1
Cover work area with newspaper to protect area from spills.
• Place round Styrofoam piece into bucket.
Step 2
• Take two flower shapes and glue them together.
• Repeat this process until you have six flowers.
Step 3
• Wrap ribbon around the rim of your bucket.
• Run ribbon through handle so it will stay in place.
• Tie bow in the front.
• Trim ends if necessary. But leave ribbon long enough to tie on gift tag.
Step 5
• Glue the leaves onto the wire stems.– Be sure to leave room for the flowers
to be attached.
Step 8
• Using a hole punch, punch a hole through your gift tag.
• Tie onto bucket using the strands of ribbon from bow.
This craft is a great way to share some time with your child, grandchild, niece, and/or nephew. Children love creating stuff, especially when they can do it with the people the love.
