INTRODUCING Fl@WORlD™

Page 2: Fl@World™ overview presentation

Fl@WORlD is an integration platform that overcomes the limitations inherent in today’s technology. It provides any-to-many support, access control, taxonomy matching, realtime notification, fine-grained compliance and providence tracking within a simple, lightweight and inexpensive solution.

Fl@WORlD substantially lowers the costs, risks and lead times of integration projects and enables unprecedented levels of enterprise agility.

Traditional integration costs increase at an increasing rate

Fl@WORLD costs are linear

The demand to integrate data and applications is increasing at an increasing rate

However, traditional integration platforms fail to simplify integration complexity

This is due to the limitations of the underlying Extract-Translate-Load (ETL) model

Fl@World™ is being deployed as the back-end for a permission-based social network. The front-end is an angular.js application. It is being deployed initially on Azure, but is portable to AWS or another providers.

Fl@World™ is providing:

• Encrypted data storage and per-person privacy protection • Server Side Event notification for new posts/comments/activities • Authentication/Authorisation • Per-person search i.e. an individual can search on only what they are permitted to

see • Per-person customisation of home-area (look, feel etc.) i.e. private personal "spaces" • Extensible platform for games/apps to be added • Permission based sharing of information and contacting of other members

To deliver the functionality using traditional tech (e.g. MySQL as backend, node.js as middleware, cloud services for notification) and then add authentication and authorisation, encryption, search and additional blob storage for customisation of the personal spaces, plus the controls/compliance and endpoints required for it to be used for app and games, would take months of work and be commercially unviable to support, let alone build.

Expertise

Fl@WORlD was written by Michael McDonald. His experience includes:

• Designing, building and Billing and Customer Care and Operational Support Systems for Telecommunications companies (Tier 1 and 2) globally.

• Designing and deploying very large Knowledge Management systems for Shell International (hundreds of affiliates world wide 24/7, thousands of users)

• Building full-stack mobile apps and platforms for Silicon Valley Human Resources company (10 billion records) using Amazon Web Services

• Numerous large scale technology deployment projects globally (EMEA, Asia Pac, US)

• Startup-through-Fortune 500 management experience

Next Steps

Fl@WORlD is interested in speaking with systems integrators, developers and organisations who have integration projects in the near term and would be willing to undertake controlled piloting of the technology for a substantial discount.
