ãÐäÃÂB ãÈåtãQIn the name of Alláh the

Beneficent, the Merciful.



âÈå×ãcán CáÖ ânåÒâ·á² CáÖ , âÈå×ã«á® CáÖ

âäØãÃá® CáÖ

O High, O Mighty, O Forgiver, O Merciful.





çAåØáw ãÐãÃå\ãÇá¾ áuå×áÂ åÕãmáäÂB

âÈå×ã«á¯åÂB âäPáäoÂB áYåÊáB

You are the Mighty Lord, who has none like Him.




âoå×ã|áRåÂB â°å×ãÇáätÂB

áÒâÎ áÑ

And He is the All Hearing, the All Seeing.




âÐáXåÆáäoá¾ áÑ âÐáXåÇáä«á® çoåÏáw BámÎ

áÑãnåÒâÏâäxÂB ÔÃá®

âÐáXåÃáä£á¶ áÑ âÐáXå¶áäoáw áÑ

This is a month which You have made exalted, honored, ennobled and excelled over other months.




áäØáÃá® âÐáÆCá×ã{ áYå¢áoá¶ åÕãmáäÂB âoåÏáw áÒâÎ áÑ

It is the month in which You have made fasting

obligatory on me,




áÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÐå×ã¶ áYåÂáqåÊáB åÕãmáäÂB áÉCá£áÆán âoåÏáw áÒâÎ

áÑand it is the month of Rama_án, in which You sent down the Qur’án,




ãÉCáºåoâ·åÂB áÑ ÓkâÏåÂB áÌãäÆ èVCáËãä×áQ áÑ

ãrCáäËÃãäÂ ÓækâÎa guidance for mankind,

having clear signs of guidance and distinction.

áYåÃá¯á_ áÑ

You have placed in it the night of power,




èoåÏáw ã¸åÂáB åÌãäÆ Bæoå×ág

CáÏáXåÃá¯á_áÑ

and made it better than a thousand months.

Cá×á¶

O One who favours,and none favours You,




ãnCáäËÂB áÌãÆ åØãXáRáºán ã½Cá¿á·ãQ áäØáÃá® áäÌâÆ

ãÐå×áÃá® âäÌâÇáW åÌáÇå×ã¶

favour me by saving me from the fire, amongst the ones You favour,




áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ áUáäËá`åÂB ØãËåÃãgåjáB áÑ

áÌå×ãÇãcBáäoÂB áÈácånB CáÖ

and make me enter Heaven,by Your mercy, O the most

Merciful.
