by Alexandra Davydova
Ryazan land is rich in talented people, including sportsmen. Many of Olympic champions are my countrymen. But I decided to dedicate my work to a sportsman from an other region, to a person who became a role model for me. My work is dedicated to Elena Isinbaeva.
Elena Isinbaeva was born on June, 3 1982 in Volgograd. She begin to do sports in the early childhood. It was gymnastics first but at the age of 15 she passed on pole-jumping.
Her first coacher was legendary Evgeny Trofimov, he wasn’t afraid to condition so adult girl. It was twenty-nine times when Elena Isinbaeva set a world records – indoor and in open air
• Elena won her first gold medal during World juvenile competitions in 1999. In 2008 she had the Olympic gold medal in Peking. She won the last Olympic gold medal in London in 2012.
Elena has her own jumping tactics. She devises jumps on plan altitude – warming-up, winning and record-breaking. Each jump has has its own pole – a pink one for warm-up, a blue one for the win and a golden one for a record.
The double Olympic champion is a simple and communicable girl. Elena Isinbaeva is not only an example of constant and strong wins but a good example of a person from a very simple family who have achieved the pinnacle of career.
