• Leryn Franco was born on March 1, 1982. Now she is 31 years old. She was a Paraguayan javelin thrower, two-times medalist of South American in athletics. She was the winner of the national record of Paraguay - 55 m 66 cm

She win two bronze medals in 1999 and 2000. Franco won the title of spears championship among juniors in 2001 in South America.

• Franco took part at the Olympic Games in 2008 in Beijing. But this competitions were not successful for her, she took only 51st place (25th place in the group). Lerin has the result of 51.45 meters and got the 18th place in the group on her third Olympic Games.

• Her results in the World competitions were: 24 metres in the World Championship in 2003 and 42metres it the Olympic Games in Athens. She set her personal result in 2007.

She goes on with a career as a model and beauty. Franco was the winner in the Miss Paraguay competition in 2006 and in the Miss Bikini Universe competition in the same year.
