DOI (Digital Object Identifier)

• 識別子 (DOI name) からデジタルオブジェクトが存在する URI に変換するサービス

• International DOI Foundation(IDF) が運営するサービス

• 元々は出版社が識別子を共有するにつくった制度であるが、現在はより広範に様々なデジタルオブジェクトの識別子を提供する制度になっている。

• 1998 年～• Handle system を利用• CrossRef はその一 Registration Agency (RA)

DOI/CrossRef の運営の仕組み

IDF(International DOI Foundation)

• DOI システムは IDF (International DOI Foundation) によって運営

• IDF に直接 DOI をデポジットできない• DOI は Registration Agency を通じてのみ可

能• Registration Agency の役割– Prefix 登録、 DOI 登録維持業務– IDF の運営協力（資金）• 年額約 600 万円程度かかる
