Domain

Is the highest taxonomic rank of

organisms

There wasn’t predict by Limneo and Wittacker

Are Eukarya, Bacteria and Archea

The domain that we keep in consideration

is EUKARYA

Kingdom

In biology, kingdom is a taxonomic rank, which is either the highest rank or in the more recent three-domain system, the rank below domain.

Since 1969 Whittacker has introduced 5 domain

The Kingdom of echinoderm is those of ANIMAL

Phylum

In biology, a phylum is a taxonomic rank below kingdom and above class

The symmetry of echinoderm is bilateral, the digestive system has 2 opening, it is an metametric organism

The Subphylum is called elethorozea

Deuterostome embryo development

Secondary radial symmetry: larvae have bilateral symmetry

Five radial parts; sea cucumbers developed pseudo-bilateral symmetry

Endoskeleton: calcite plates (ossicles) covered by epidermis, may be single plates (flexible body) or fused (solid shell, sea urchin)

Spines on calcite plates give “spiny skin” (phylum name!) sea urchin spines are endoskeleton and covered by thin skin!

Charateristics

A particoular charateristic:Aquiferous System

The aquiferous system is a particular system of vessels that forms the basis for locomotion, the grip on the substrate, the capture of prey and to the respiration of Echinodermata

It is based on the principle of osmosis
