功率平滑

上图表示:发电量和负载需求之间存在不平衡,在没有进行功率平滑的情况下,会出现大量波动,而进行功率平滑之后,这些波动得以抑制,系统响应则相对平顺。

通过并网的、随时可以按需提高或调低功率的发电机组进行功率平滑:当发电量出现瞬时不足时,提高发电机组的功率输出;反之,在发电量瞬时过量时,调低发电机组的功率输出。

这样的调节,对发电机组有损耗,这即是储能商业模式的基础;

调频

当负载和发电机组之间出现不平衡时,为保证系统频率和稳定性,需要作出多种响应:首先,在最初的几秒内进行一次频率调整,发电机组调速增加发电出力;接下来,在半分钟至几分钟的时间里进行二次频率调整,如图中虚线所示。值得注意的是,发电机组或传输线路突然发生故障后,频率衰减的速率与电网在那一瞬间的总惯性成正比,大型发电机组的旋转质量和 /或很多小型发电机组的总质量共同决定了这一惯性。惯性和调速动作共同决定了频率衰减及复原的速率。

在 Arresting和 Rebound这两个阶段,就是飞轮或电池储能系统进行快速响应,调频频率的阶段;这与功率平滑类似,但响应时间更短, 1分钟之内,秒级。

负载跟踪 /谐波支撑

储能系统非常适合抑制风能、光伏等可再生能源系统产生的波动,这与储能系统对快速或随机波动的负载作出响应的情况相同。绝大多数情况下可再生能源储能系统会给出谐波上升和下降的预期最大速率(单位是MW/min)和谐波的持续时间,这对负载跟踪和谐波支撑都适用,因此二者可以等同视之。负载跟踪的特点是功率输出每几分钟就变化一次,不断在供电和负载之间作出平衡。

储能系统适用于负载跟踪的原因:1. 瞬时响应2. PSCO时保持 95%效率

延迟输电设施升级峰值负荷偶然 >输电系统承载能力(譬如变压器):1. 如果换用新变压器,就会根据评估考虑 15-20年后的规格,就会超配,变压器服务寿命内大部分功率未用到,是投资浪费;2. 若此时不换新,假装储能系统,则可以解决峰值问题,同时延长现有变压器寿命;延迟升级、减少投资、提高资产利用率;
