• Extend and promote OCF specifications & provide
– publicly available specifications
– means to contribute to specs evolution – guidance for creation of compliant products – forum for agreement of specification proposals– liaison with related interoperability initiatives– sponsorship of specification submissions to
appropriate formal open standards bodies

• Provides open software methods– generic interfacing of client applications with
