*What is VRS?Video Relay Service (VRS) allows individuals who use sign language to communicate via videoconference and a video interpreter (VI). The VI voices/relays the signed conversa-tion in real time to both deaf and hearing individuals.
Easy connection to Purple VRS
To make a Purple VRS call, an employee simply needs to dial the number and they will be seamlessly connected. Once the call connects, the video screen will display the caller. When receiving a call, the video screen flashes, alerting the employee of the incoming call. To answer, the employee either picks up the receiver, presses the “speaker” button or uses a headset device.
