SOPs – General Overview • SOPs  serve  as  a  framework  for  common  business  prac6ces,  providing  direc6on  and  structure  • SOPs  can  be  created  by  wri6ng  down  the  steps  taken  when  performing  specific  tasks  in  your  business  and  following  the  template  examples.  • The  interna6onal  quality  standard  ISO  9001  requires  the  determina6on  of  processes  (documented  as  standard  opera6ng  procedures)  used  in  any  manufacturing  process  that  could  affect  the  quality  of  the  product  (Guidance  on  the  Documenta/on  Requirements  of  ISO  9001:2008)
