Sudhagad.Thisfortisapproximately590metersinheight.Sudhagadisahugefort.Itiscalledas
thereplicaofRaigad.
TheThanaleexcavationsinthisareaarenearly2200yearsold.ThisshowsthatSudhagadmay
bethatmuchancient.Theconstructionandthegeographicalsignificanceindicatethatsome
greatrulersmighthaveconstructedthefort.AccordingtothePuranas,SageBhruguhadstayed
hereandhehadestablishedthetempleofGoddessBhoraionthisfort.
