Forum mladih Ruskej matki 31. oktobra 2008. r. uspi{noor}anizoval Maskenbal u prostorijoh Ruskogo kulturno-prosvitnogo dru`tva u Novim Sadze. Interaktivna babkarskapredstava Studiy «Abrakadabra» pod nazvu «Radosna vistka» bulauvod do togo uspi{nogo ve~ara. Dzeci htori pri{li patric totupredstavvu buli ti` maskirani i dze~nw u~astvovali u wjvivodzenx.

Na Maskenbal u Novim Sadze vek{ina mladih pri{la maskirana.Muzika bula odli~na, a gosci veseli i pririhtani za tanwc. Kolopol noci pregla{eni najlwp{i maski, a dru`enw predlu`ene dorana.

U or}anizaci< Foruma mladih Ruskej matki 17. decembra2008. r. u Novim Sadze otrimani Istorijni ve~ar zoz `ivota iobi~ajoh Rusnacoh, a otrimani vecej stretnuca mladih Rusnacohu na{ih mestoh.

ROZPISANI DVA KONKURSI

Upravni odbor Ruskej matki na shadzki otrimanej 3. oktobra2008.r. u Ruskim Keresture rozpisal konkurs za virobokgrafi{nogo znaka 10. [vetovogo kon}resa Rusnacoh/ Rusinoh/Lemkoh i konkurs za vidavanw kn<`ki poezi< mladih na ruskim iserbskim yziku u «Edici< Xliyna Nady». Konkursi obyveni uti`nqovih novinoh «Ruske slovo» od 10. oktobra 2008. r.

Na konkursu Ruskej matki za virobok }rafi~nogo znaka10. [vetovogo kon}resa Rusnacoh/ Rusinoh/ Lemkoh, htori bulotvoreni do 10. novembra 2008. r. u najlwp{e }rafi~ne ri{enw

dali Vany Dula i Ivan Ki{ zoz Dxrdqova, pod {ifru «Ru~n<k».Avtorom najlwp{ogo ri{eny }rafi~nogo znaka 10. [vetovogokon}resa RRL, htori u Ruskim Keresture budze otrimani od 4. do7. xniy 2009. r. viplacena nagrada u vinosu od 15 tisy~i dinari.

Na konkursu Ruskej matki za vidavanw kn<`ki poezi< na ruskim iserbskim yziku za mladih poetoh nw star{ih od 30 roki, htoribul otvoreni do 10. decembra 2008. r., najlwp{i dvoyzi~ni zborn<kpoezi< dala Asy Papu}a zoz Ruskogo Kerestura, pod {ifru «Dzivkau cmoti». Selektor konkursa i recenzent kn<`ki mladih ruskihpoetoh bul prof. Vladimir Besermin< zoz Ruskogo Kerestura.Kn<`ka poezi< za mladih ruskih poetoh budze obyvena u «Edici<Xliyna Nady», u vidanx Ruskej matki Ruski Kerestur vwdno zoz«Zadu`binu Bori Latinovi~a» zoz Kuli, a budze drukovana u 500prikladn<koh.

Odluki o vibore najlwp{ih robotoh na obidvoh konkursohRuskej matki prinwsol Upravni odbor Ruskej matki na zawdn<ckejshadzki zoz Forumom mladih Ruskej matki, htora u RuskimKeresture otrimana 17. decembra 2008. r.

SUMMARY*

Deacon Aleksandr Monich. The work of the Maramarosh Saint Josef(Stoika).The work of the Maramarosh Orthodox Bishop Saint Josef Stoika (1690-1711) is analyzed in the article. Having researched many sources, the author comesto the conclusion that Bishop Stoika was a hierarch not only for TranscarpathianRusins but also for the Romanians of Transylvania. Much attention is given to thepastoral work of the bishop in the struggle with the Roman Unia. The RomanianOrthodox Church canonized Stoika in 2003 for his service to the Romanian people.

Iurii Danilets. Archbishop Ionafan (Kopolovich): life and creative path. The lifeof the well-known hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Archbishop IonafanKopolovich is examined in the article. Attention is given to his aspiration for educationand learning in Serbia. During the Hungarian occupation he maintained the canonicalposition of the recognition of the jurisdiction of the Serbian Orthodox Church, forwhich he was subject to persecution by the authorities. He was one of the initiatorsof the journey to Moscow in 1944 with the petition to include the Mukachevo-Priashev Diocese in the Moscow Patriarchate. As hierarch, Kopolovich did muchgood for the Church. Despite being occupied he actively pursued theology and thehistory of the church. He was awarded many church honors.

Iurii Danilets. In memory of Ivan Kalinich. The author of the article researchesfor the first time, the little-known in the broader circles of society, theTranscarpathian poet and artist Ivan Kalinich. He was born in 1924, went throughthe war and worked in the education system. As an artist he participated in dozensof international and inter-republican shows. Toward the end of his life he began towrite in the Rusin language. He published three anthologies of poetry, in which,through satire, he showed the difficult life of the Rusin people. In I. Kalinich’scollection there are many works which await publication.

Dimitrii Daniliuk. The scholarly legacy of Venelin in light of new research.The latest research dedicated to the scholarly legacy of the well-known Slavichistorian Venelin is analyzed in the article. The author affirms that not only Ukrainianbut also Russian historians have a great interest in Venelin's work. The author callsupon others to safeguard and remember the unique works of Venelin.

Maksim Zhikh. About the prehistory of the Land of Volyn’. The early history ofVolyn’, one of the oldest centers of Slavic ethno-political genesis, is examined in thearticle. Here, from the middle of the 6th century, there existed several Slavic politicalunions, which in various periods of time, occupied the leading position of theregion. From the Volynian region there were also migrations of Slavs to neighboringregions, which arose at various times in its history because of internal (rise in

population, economic development, etc.) and external (Avarian invasion) reasons.In the second half of the first millennium, Lendzian, Buzhian and many other Slavictribes lived alongside the Dulebian and Volynian. Inadequate sources do not allowthe opportunity to research their history and inter-relationships.

Aleksandr Mashkin. The relationship of the ruling circles of Austro-Hungaryto the Moscophiles of Galicia, Bukovina and Transcarpathia during the years ofthe First World War. The politics of the Austro-Hungarian authorities with regardto the Rusins, the majority of which at that time were Russophile, are examined in thearticle. The author presents many facts of the cruel treatment by the Austro-Hungarian administration of its subjects, the Rusins, which is impossible to explaineven from the point of view, that during wartime such measures are necessary.

Vasilii Mishchanin. Governmental archival documents of the Transcarpathianoblast’ regarding the agrarian policies in Transcarpathia in 1944-1950. Thehistorical sources of agrarian policies in Transcarpathia during the years 1944 to1950 are analyzed in the article. The author categorizes the sources not only in thetraditional manner – unpublished or published but by periods of agrarian politics. Inthe article are also ear-marked the documents which examine the functionality andrealization which were accepted political decisions in the agrarian sector.

Vasilii Mishchanin. Transcarpathian youth in the schools of FZO: learning orlabor migration? The problems of the implementation of collectivization in theTranscarpathian oblast’ at the end of the 1940’s and the directing of youth to studyin other areas of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic are examined in the article.Facts of the forced resettlement of adolescent boys and girls apart from their parentsare presented. By this the authorities attempted to resolve two problems: resettlethe region and deal with those in disagreement to collectivization.

Viktor Kichera. The institutional organization of the Basilian Order inTranscarpathia during the period of rule of the Bishop of Mukachevo AndreiBachinskii (1773-1809). The period of time from the end of the XVIII to thebeginning of the XIX centuries in the history of the Basilians in Transcarpathia wasa time of the enlightened activity of Father Superior Ioannikii Bazilovich and BishopAndrei Bachinskii. The formation of the Basilian Order was accomplished in a shorthistorical period of time. This fact allowed for the livening of activity of the Basiliansin Hungary. The author provides an analysis of the socio-economic situation of themonasteries in Transcarpathia and indicates the numerical growth of monks.

Viktor Kichera. The missionary activity of the reformed Basilian monks inTranscarpathia in the 20’s and 30’s of the XX century. The theme of the giveninvestigation is the missionary activity of the Czechoslovakian “branch” of OSBMin the historical Transcarpathian region. After a long period of Magyarization,favourable conditions had been created for implementing the reforms. One of themost important aspects of the reforms was the improvement of the missionary activityof the Order. The return of the Transcarpathian monks to their core, which belonged

to them naturally, and its dissemination among the native population, was highlyimportant.

Vasilii Kotsan. Types of enclosures, their development and structural featuresin Transcarpathia at the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th centuries. Thestructural features of enclosures in Transcarpathia at the end of the 19th to thebeginning of the 20th centuries are analyzed in the article. Detailed descriptions ofgateways and gates of village farmsteads are given. The development process ofthe enclosures, from the simplest to the most complex (the elaborate gates of theRomanians in Transcarpathia) is described. Considered separately is the questionof the enclosures in the pastures and mountain meadows of the Transcarpathianoblast’: various types of enclosures for sheep and milking sheds.

Nina Pashaeva. Carpatho-Russian Intelligentsia in Russia in the first half ofthe 19th century: Orlai, Balug’ianskii, Lodii, Kukol’nik, Venelin. The work offive famous scholars, native sons of Sub-Carpathian Rus’, are analyzed. Havingmigrated to Russia for various reasons, they made a significant contribution to thedevelopment of education in that country.

Sergei Suleak. Rusins: lessons of a tragic history. The three periods of therebirth of the Rusins are examined in the article: the second half of the 19th centuryto 1914; the 1920’s to 1939; the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st centurywith specific attention to the activities of the outstanding representatives ofCarpathian Rus’: D. Zubritskii, Iakov Golovatskii, I. Rakovskii, A. Dukhnovich,M. Kachkovskii, I. Naumovich and others. The first Rusin Rebirth began owing totheir work. Facts regarding the repression of Rusins during WWI are presented.Emphasized in the article is the fact that Rusins, on more than one occasion, createdor attempted to create their own state. One of the problems complicating thecontemporary ethno-cultural Rusin Renaissance is the absence of a state whichcould support an ethno-cultural alliance in such direction.

Sergei Suleak. Talergof and Terezin: the forgotten genocide. The article isdedicated to the most tragic pages of the history of Carpathian Rus’: the massivegenocide of Rusins during WWI. The first concentration camps in Europe wereestablished in Austro-Hungary in 1914 for the internment of Rusins. The mostinfamous of them was Talergof. No less than 20000 Rusins passed through thiscamp. Execution of the law-abiding peaceful population was not uncommon. In 1914-15 the Austro-Hungarian authorities arrested whole communities and conductedreprisals without trial. In the Carpathian region there wasn’t a village or family whichhad not suffered from the Austro-Hungarian authorities. For the Rusins, Talergofbecame a hallowed place of martyrdom for the idea of a common unified Rus’.

Прояви, Всивышньый, всимогущу силу - Господи, помилуй! Господи, помилуй!

Ни забештелуєш, ни закарандачиш Тої цяткы луфту, вбысь туй ни вчадiв. Хоть - нисиринчливый! - нарiд мiй ни плаче, Господи, помилуй добрых русинiв!

Русин быв, є й буде народом побожным. Русин быв, є й буде тым, кым овiн є. У скарбизнiм свiтi у часы трывожнi Лем Всимилостивый жити нам дає!

Петровций Иван Юрьевич родился в 1945 г. в селе Осий Иршавского района Закарпатской обла-сти. Закончил филологический факультет Ужго-родского государственного университета. Работал учителем в родном селе, журналистом. Написал и выпустил много книг на русинском и украинском языках. Лауреат премии имени Дюлы Ийеша Вен-герского Союза писателей (1994), болгарской пре-мии за лучшую сатиру «Хитрый Петр» (1997), Международной премии русинской литературы имени Александра Духновича (1998). Автор мно-гочисленных частушек-спиванок.
