• Critères inclusion :– patients naïfs d’ARV, âge > 16 ans– ARN VIH-1 > 2 000 c/ml, pas de résistance à ZDV, 3TC, EFV– tropisme R5 (Trofile® Monogram)
• Stratification sur :– ARN VIH-1 < ou > 100 000 c/ml au screening– zone géographique : Hémisphère Nord ou Hémisphère Sud
* En cas de toxicité liée à ZDV ou 3TC, substitution possible avec autres INTI** Le 3ème bras de l’étude (MVC 300 mg qd) a été arrêté prématurément (205 patients ayant atteint S16) pour efficacité insuffisante
